The L. B. Bohle BFC 600 Coater:

Bohle coaters have now achieved new proportions with the development of the model BFC 600. This unit has already coated tablets weighing up to 800 kg. The BFC 600 has demonstrated successful coating of tablets of batch sizes weighing 320 to 800 kg. Naturally, the benefits of previous Bohle systems have been retained. Furthermore, the following have been improved:


» Automatic height and angle adjustment of all spray nozzles,
» Automatic opening of the coater via telescopic front door,
» Closed processing system featuring dust-free charging and removal.
» Explosion suppression combined with a maximum pressure rate of 0.5 bar.
» Pneumatic assistance when closing the side doors.

On recent trials with 600 kg of product, the Bohle BFC 600 was able to
achieve a uniformity CV better than 4%.
