LDS ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS

LDS started business two years ago, by a group of people that were former employees of Lakso and Merrill. The company is in Leominster, Massachusetts, very close to the old DT Industries, now IMA Nova.

The company consists of the following people:

-President: Ed Mazur - was Vice President of DT Industries in Sales and Marketing. He comes from Lakso and has more than ten years of experience.

-VP Operations / Managing Partner- Jeffrey Scheminger- worked with DT Packaging / Lakso for 8 years (VP Operations for 5 years and General Manager for 3 years). Has been in manufacturing & engineering for 22 years.

-Service Manager: Ken Flinkstron - was Service Manager for 20 years at DT Industries, Lakso / Merrill.

-Customer Service: Linda LaFleur – Linda was the Customer Service Manager at DT Industries, Lakso / Merrill, for slats and parts for 20 years. This lady is the most knowledgeable in the industry in relation to change parts and slats for Lakso and Merrill equipment.

-Sales Manager: Mike Witowicz – Mike worked for more than 20 years with the Lakso and Merrill equipment, including change parts, slats and sales.

-Rebuild equipment and technical service: Sleve Banvile – in the last 8 years, Sleve was the person responsible for rebuilding equipment and technical service at DT Industries.

-Slats designer: Marty Mosbrucker, – more than eight years designing and manufacturing slats and change parts.

-Slats manufacture: Erik LaFleur – More than eight years manufacturing slats. He is also Linda LaFleur’s son.

These are the shareholders of LDS. LDS was a company manufacturing toolings for blisters and this group of people purchased the company because they have an excellent, brand new shop with eight programmable CMC units.

The new company, LDS, will provide all the parts and slats. They will completely rebuild equipment and provide good, qualified technical assistance. They will build new equipment; provide support for Microscan I all the way to Microscan III. They can rebuild cottoners and can build new ones.
